EIKONS – Mitigating Circumstances
(1990 – 1992)
This series of six triptychs is based
on national articles taken from The Philadelphia Inquirer, collected
between 1980-1990.
The EIKONS (Greek for ‘image’)
are about the cosmetizing of violence...about the transformation
of the Unthinkable into the Acceptable.
